Core Nursing Foundations

In this foundational module, you’ll gain essential knowledge and professional instincts needed to excel as a nursing assistant. You will:

  • Understand different healthcare settings and your role within the care team

  • Learn legal, ethical, and communication standards in diverse environments

  • Master infection control, safe body mechanics, emergency response, and cultural sensitivity

  • Grasp human needs and development across the lifespan

Daily Care & Body Systems

This block immerses you in hands-on skills and body system health:

  • Learn anatomy basics and posture, transfers, and ambulation

  • Perform routine resident care: personal hygiene, nutrition, elimination, mobility, and maintaining safe environments

  • Gain practical experience in admissions, transfers, and managing common health needs
